‘Stephen Keshi has reached his limit’ – new NFF president.

It seems like the first official big decision newly elected President of Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick will tackle is deciding the future of  Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi after revealing he is not a fan of Keshi’s coaching tactics before now.

With Nigeria, current champions of Africa struggling to qualify for AFCON 2015, the new NFF boss, in a recent interview with Vanguard Sport gave his view about Keshi.

‘I like Keshi as a person, but the Eagles run-up to the World Cup and their first game (vs Iran) has proved to me that Keshi has reached his limit.’

‘He is a national hero. I celebrate him for all he has achieved with the team in such a short time, but it appears he can’t move the Eagles forward unless he improves on his abilities.

Pinnick also write off the coaching tactics applied during  2014 World Cup in Brazil.

‘We failed to go further in Brazil because our coaches did not adopt the scientific approach to winning matches. Football has gone beyond having a coaching crew on the bench.’...
