After Denying they were Kidnapped, Asari Dokubo is Now Saying #BringBackOurGirls

Ex-militant leader of the Niger Delta Volunteer Peoples Force (NDVPF), Mujahid Asari Dokubo seems to be recanting his earlier believe that some nearly 300 girls were abducted from Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok.

Dokubo, had in the last six months maintained that the whole idea of the kidnap of the girls was a scam to discredit the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan, despite the fact that the Jonathan government who also doubted the kidnap for almost two weeks accepted the development.

He was also unperturbed by the fact the the leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau confirmed kidnapping the girls, alongside the report of a presidential committee set up by President Goodlcuk Jonathan and the global outcry and condemnation confirming the kidnap of the girls.

He even led several protest some of which involved his children carrying placards with inscriptions like Chibok Girls abduction is a scam.

However, a picture he recently posted on his facebook wall as sen below seems to suggest he is now accepting the fact that the girls were kidnapped, but not without a twist to the saga.

While he may have accepted the girls were kidnapped, the picture he posted with the inscription “dont play politics with our name, Shettima bring back our sisters”, seems to be suggested that the governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima is behind the kidnapped.

Perhaps, in the nearest future, Dokubo will come to terms that the girls were actually kidnapped by Boko Haram and not Shtettima.
